Project: Student Engagement Series for Marketing & Sales
Objectives: Increase student engagement and awareness around JMC Academy’s offerings.
Strategy: Create a series of animated videos that explain different aspects of the student experience at JMC Academy
Target Audience: Current and prospective students at JMC Academy
Process:
The creation of each video went through the following process:
1. Briefing session: we met with key team members to discuss the narrative of the video and its objectives. The stakeholders came from different departments in the college, so we ran an alignment exercise to ensure that everyone is aligned on the goals of the project.
2. Development: We wrote a draft script which went through several rounds of review before it was approved. At the same time, we produced a sketch that showed what the final piece will look like, in terms of layout, content and illustrations.
3. Production: We worked with a voice-over company to record the audio for the script. Once the sketch was approved, we began illustration and animation of the final piece, which was edited to music and audio.
4. Delivery: the final animated video was delivered and shared on Social Media as part of JMC Academy’s online communication. It was also used as part of the sales department’s communication with prospective and starting students during orientation and open days.
Outcomes:
Higher engagement with current and prospective students.
Clearer communication around common inquiries.
Memorable communication pieces that are accessible by a wider audience.
