The Funding Network and Accenture Crowdfunding Event

Project Objectives:
The Funding Network is a not-for-profit organisation; through the live illustration of the event, it aimed to engage the audience and create a visual takeaway to be shared on social media and other platforms.

Strategy:
Live listening and synthesis of the presentations and funding milestones that were achieved.

Alan live graphic recording the event with his illustration projected on screen for the audience to watch.

Process:
1. Briefing video call: we met with the event organiser who briefed us on the agenda of the event and the outcomes that she is looking to capture in the live illustration.
2. Setup: we arrived at the event space at Accenture in Barangaroo 45 minutes before the event started, in order to set up. The illustration was to be done digitally; we set up our screen and projector on the side of the room so that the audience could watch the illustration being created as the event was taking place. 
3. Live Illustration: During the event, as each presenter was pitching their project, Alan live illustrated the key points of their presentation. Then as the pledging began, Alan illustrated the progress of each project. 
4. The Outcome: As the event wrapped up, the illustration was complete. The outcome was a compelling illustrated piece that showcased key moments from the evening. We delivered a high resolution image that was shared after the event with all attendees in an email campaign and was used on social media to share the achievements of the night and promote the work of The Funding Network.

Fnal illustration delivered on the spot after the event was done.

Outcomes:
A shareable high-resolution image that captures the takeaways from the crowdfunding event. The image was used to engage with hundreds of online audience members, as a way to recap the event.
