In the world of live-scribing and graphic recording, the most common way of working is as a solo artist, and the type of work reflects that. The jobs often revolve around one event and the creation of a single artwork, which is the type of work that an individual does. But increasingly events are becoming multichannel, with simultaneous activities and breakout rooms. This is where having more scribes is an advantage.
What’s unique about our approach is that we are both in-house, working together, jamming together, creating together. This means that when we scribe a multichannel event, we can be in different rooms listening to different conversations but our work but the output is aligned. For Telstra’s Vantage event in 2021, we live-scribed different channels with various speakers in 20 minute talks over two days. The result is a series of connected artworks that are part of a set, but distinct enough to be viewed individually.
Something we love about being part of a creative team is that we hold each other accountable. We’re critical of each other’s work, and constantly push one another to new heights, getting the best out of each other which is reflected in our continually evolving approach. Our work never sits still and neither should yours.
We’re small by design, which means you’ll get to know us and we’ll get to know you. This means we will always take a custom approach that best suits your needs.
